HOLTER

Holter monitoring at AURA: precise monitoring of heart activity

Holter monitoring is a modern diagnostic method that allows for continuous monitoring of the heart for 24 hours or longer, detecting hidden arrhythmias and ischemic changes that may not be detected by a standard ECG.

At AURA Medical Center, we use a modern 12-channel Holter monitor that operates using wireless technology and transmits data to a computer in real time.

How does Holter monitoring work?

📍 Special electrodes are attached to the patient to record heart activity for 24 hours or longer.
📍 The patient keeps an activity diary, noting physical activity, food intake, stressful situations, and any symptoms (such as palpitations, dizziness).
📍 After the monitoring is completed, the data is transferred to a computer, where the cardiologist performs a detailed analysis and prepares a conclusion.

Advantages of Holter monitoring at AURA

Long-term ECG recording

continuous

Capturing rare rhythm disturbances

the device records even episodic deviations that cannot be caught on a standard ECG.

Detailed data analysis

the computer program performs an automatic analysis, after which the cardiologist does a manual interpretation.

Digital storage of the results

the data is stored in high quality, can be sent in digital format and kept for a long time without loss of information.

Convenience for the patient

the device is light and compact, does not restrict daily activity and allows a normal lifestyle.
